Von trained in music, dance and theater in her hometown of New Orleans and Atlanta. She entered the entertainment business professionally in 1998, singing backup on various up and coming artists' music. After having sat on an independent label without release for over a year, Von set out to release her music independently. She showcased her songs at various venues in Atlanta, generating much interest.  She then decided to record her full debut album, The Love & Light Verses. Von says, “I really thought The Love & Light Verses would never see the light of day,”  after she pivoted into film and TV, and had a few personal setbacks, including being diagnosed with Lupus. However, in 2024, with renewed focus, and a reawakening of her timeless music, The Love & Light Verses will be released August 2024, and is sure to become a classic. On the first single being released on a Sunday, the date of 3/24/24 has much significance. But, she says “I’m going to keep that under wraps for now. I just hope that people will appreciate my songwriting, harmonies, real vocals and instruments again!"

 Von is the content creator of the LDS Balanced Life Style channel on YouTube and @lvonluvnlife on Instagram and TikTok.  She is a brand ambassador for multiple beauty and lifestyle brands.  As a budding screenwriter-producer under her production company, L.A.L. Scribes, she has created a T.V. series called, Buddy Says, which is being shopped along with multiple film and T.V. projects. She is also the owner of The Lotus Doll Shop Boutique online. Von is a multi-creative!
